BCL Congresses are located in various locations in the UK at 4* Hotels with good transport connections nearby and designed to be affordable and accessible. Bridge is the focus, usually with 3 sessions/tournaments a day, 1 or 2 seminars, and a local outing in to provide a social break. They start on Thursday or Friday and are 3 or 4 night fully inclusive packages with dedicated Bridge Director and full results and prizes provided. A minimum of 40 participants is the norm.
BCL Reunions are located in more exotic locations, usually in Western Europe, but have been in the past in America and on Boat cruises. The focus is more on the social aspects with BCL friends, still with plenty of bridge run by a dedicated Bridge Director, but more outings and longer relaxation periods to enjoy the actual location. The packages will be typically 5 days, and generally, members add a day or so of travel either side if they have time. A minimum of 20 participants is the norm.
Full and Social Members and their family and friends are all eligible to attend unless otherwise stated.

As of May 5th, 2026, sadly, this planned event for March 18-25, 2027 has been cancelled due to insufficient numbers (5-8 bookings) within the extra strict cruise line booking conditions. All bookings made to date with our agent, have been set to automatically refund in full.
This is now provisionally set for late September 2027, at a new Event location in Italy that is being researched - dates will be announced here asap.
