BridgeClubLive provides an Audio and/or Video option in selected rooms.
The basic operation is triggered by pressing a red loudspeaker Icon
as shown in the Chat Area when applicable. Pressing this icon outside approved areas will give an error message. You MUST be logged in as a member as your ALIAS will be used to attach to your Audio/Video signal.
It is also available for all registered F2F Clubs on BCL. The same icon is located on your Club Room where all your members are listed.
When you click the red Icon, it will open a new Window or Tab that gives you complete freedom of being able to setup your sound and video connection whilst playing bridge, yet keep it totally separate from your Bridge Playing Screen. and thus avoiding clutter.
We advise you FIRST test your Mic and Camera using the test link provided on this page.
It is YOUR responsibility to make sure your system are reasonably up to date in order to benefit from the latest improvements in many software systems including our AV system.
If you have a system that is a year or more older, do check that you are up to-date with the basic operating system and its web browser/s.
If someone else joins a table to play or spectate then they will show with no refresh needed
Chat is protected with an automatic password entry (varies with internet speeds - maybe a second or two, so you might see it flash on the screen) for any new a/v participant. It does not affect those already participating.
Mic Issues - click on the mic options drop down menu to check the settings
You can check the BCL Audio Video Screen directly and see that it shows your Camera and that you can mute either the camera and/or the microphone.
Get familiar with the options.
